Newest Little Man

OH my gosh. This little peanut was so much fun to photograph. The amazing bassinette (although you can't see much of it) is a family heirloom passed down from daddy's family and is around 100 years old. Grandma sewed a beautiful blanket to cover it. Very special! Congrats to Mommy and Daddy!

Summer Solstice Soiree

Thanks to the wonderful women who attended the Summer Solstice Soiree. It was a beautiful night with great food, wine, music and conversation. Sarah did an amazing job planning the menu around the different wines that everyone brought along and also with the outdoor decor. Mill City Cutie

I have had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie twice and this time I got to include mom and dad, too. It was a beautiful day and so much fun to walk over the Stone Arch Bridge and see the mill ruins by the Mississippi. What a little pumpkin she is!

Just Hatched!

These are my newest newborn photos of the baby bird who hatched in my Mother's Day hanging flower pot. I named her Dottie since she hatched from the only spotted egg out of 4. The others are smaller light blue eggs! Dottie was born to a proud mama and papa bird who did not exactly appreciate me taking photos of their newborn but I couldn't NOT! So cute! Welcome, Dottie. Now we anxiously await baby birdies 2, 3 & 4.

Sesame Street Birthday Fun!

This little birthday girls mom spent so much time on her party I just had to get some photos of it up for you all to see. She sewed the dress, baked and decorated the cake, designed the invitations and created Sesame Street themed games! What a fun time and what a lucky little girl!! All the little ones had a blast and I had a blast capturing the day.

First Comes Love...

We all know how the rest of the story goes! I am so lucky to get to be an active onlooker into the lives of families that start as love and then go to marriage, and if I'm lucky enough, I even get to capture the baby in the baby carriage! Some even happen in the opposite order (except the love part). I also get a chance to meet some amazing people who entrust me to capture these special moments from the altar to the baby carriage. I start to feel like part of the family and love the experience.
